If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?

Maybe it’s too cliche since I live in the South, but I would want to be Scarlett O’Hara. She is described as beautiful yet strong willed. She is stubborn and, at the end of the day, a survivalist. The book goes on and on about how hard she is to deal with and how cold her personality can come across. I think her character arch is why I want to be her. Her difficult personality started from a privileged upbringing, but at the end of the book she has remained cold because she has suffered through more than enough. What I am trying to say is that Scarlett starts as a bitch just because she can and ends as a bitch because she has been through a lot of shit. She never feels guilt over this attribute that has allowed her to survive no matter the opinions of others. I want to be her in the aspects of accepting all of my flaws because I have them for a reason. I am too friendly because I have had to talk myself out of a lot of dangerous situations. I talk too much because I was used to trying to get a read on people to see if I was safe. She is not ashamed of her survival, and I want to be proud of mine.
